My students have been studying about the life cycles of plants and vegetables. We discussed what the farmers do with the vegetables after they are picked. We discussed dehydration and canning. I wanted the students to understand the importance of giving, so we volunteered to help collect cans for the food drive around school. The kids loved it!!!
